Congratulations Matthew Mitcham on your Olympic Gold
I think it's cool that Matthew Mitcham admits he didn't see a future in sports as a child. He has described himself as a non-athletic kid, and his rebellious streak led him to pierce his tongue at age 14. Does he still have the piercing? Yep ... he says he doesn't even notice it while diving.
Now that Matthew has won an olympic gold for Austrailia in the 2008 Beijing Games, I think we'll see a lot more of the fabulous Matthew Mitcham diving superstar. Let me be the first to say ... "I can't wait!".
